And just like that the fun filled Summer is over. I took most of August off to spend uninterrupted time with my boys and it was the best decision I made. Slow paced mornings, sandy beach days, sweet watermelon and popsicle dripping down the chin evenings and most importantly the time spent talking, playing , cuddling. So with the beginning of school year I was a little sad to say good bye to our Summer days but looking forward to getting back into routine. It was also a big milestone for my first born son. The  start of Kindergarten at the new big school, riding the big yellow bus. Excitement mixed with the hint of worry.  ” I will be ok, mom!” he said and off he went. How is that my tiny little 2 pound baby is ready to start school now ? Happy and sad tears at the same time for this mom here 🙂 So proud of this little man .

My younger one started preschool  and they both seem a little lost being separated to different schools for first time and having to spend the days apart. These two have such a strong bond.
